New Year's Eve is one of the major events for the Memphis Bop Club. It is a time for past and current members to come together and party. We reminisce about the past year and wish each other the best for the New Year. We generally have around 250 - 300 attendees each year.
The music is comprised of bop, shag, swing and even some country tunes. All styles of dance can be seen on the dance floor. Even line dances are played throughout the night to give everyone a variety. Our DJs do an excellent job of keeping us entertained.
This
year's event will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010. The festivities will
be held at the Marriott Hotel on American Way. Tickets will go on sale Friday, October 15, 2010 for $45 per person until December 1st when tickets will go for $50 per person. For this price, you will get
admittance to the dance, party favors, Champagne at midnight and a wonderful
breakfast around 1 AM. Who could ask for more at this low price?
For those who want to stay the night, we have arranged a special room rate of $79. You must mention the Memphis Bop Club to get this rate.
